Profile | Ishwar Parhar is a Professor and Head of Neuroscience, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and Founding Director of the Brain Research Institute, Monash University Malaysia. He received his early education in Malaysia, a Master’s degree in BioMedSc (Hons) from Punjab University, India, and a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore. He has held academic positions at the Rockefeller University, New York, the USA, and Nippon Medical School, Tokyo, Japan and holds adjunct Professorships at the Sun Yet Sen University in China.
